Zimmerman is only guilty of being a fat doofus with delusions of grandeur.

The justice system in general is filled to the very top with loopholes and "outs" and confines many innocent due to technicalities. Being outraged about one case is simply a microcosm of outrage over the lack of justice in general.

At least, that's how I look at it, anyway.

Zimmerman was charged with second degree murder. They couldn't prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he was guilty of that.

the prosecution might've had better luck with a lesser charge.

The jury had the choice of convicting him of manslaughter.

Mickey, dear, don't trivialize my posts. I'm neither outraged nor disgusted. Post with content instead of attacking me.... and being wrong. And I'd rather be emotional and be too illogical to know how to do first grade addition than be as cold-blooded as certain people are towards the senseless death of someone.

ok, you're right. that's a bit more surprising. but overall the prosecution was weak, and this was a very ambiguous situation.

I'd have to research this more thoroughly to make a statement on whether he's guilty.

A kid trying to be cool? That's your case? Should we then shoot every black (or white, for that matter) youth male who has posted pictures of himself smoking drugs and flipping the bird?? You know, in case he may at some point in the future glance in a window?

I'm not saying Trayvon was perfect, and he was likely a troubled youth, but in this incident he was wronged.

All too often it comes down to who can afford the best lawyers. Lawyers, whether their client is innocent or guilty, have the job of trying to prove 'beyond reasonable doubt' that their client is innocent. Clearly Zimmerman's lawyer was good at his job. That's how I see it, anyway.

It is also true that we don't REALLY know all of the facts. I still think someone just got away with murder.
