...and there's a person that's getting on your nervs, but you can't be rude as to say "Get the hell away from me".

What's the politest way of turning a person down and saying you're not interested?

And if the polite fails, what then?

i think you know the answer already.

physically leaving the place is an option, but not a good one in some situations.

being direct is the way to go. there is no other way but the truth.

One can leave and still be followed, because sometimes even leaving gives off the wrong signal.

Being direct does work, however it sort of lacks the "not hurting people's feelings" part.

dematerialize then.. as in, vanish into thin air on the spot. I struggle to find another way to solve this mess for you. and since you re not even willing to grow a pair and crush someone who already is seemingly stalking you methodically and basically being a sharp pain in the butt, hence not deserving any amnesty at all in this constallation, I seriously dont know what else to tell you.

I have the sudden urge to say, "yes father"...:scared:

I'm not a genie, hence dematerialization is a no go.

Growing a pair however could work.

Just start talking about your period. That'll make him run.

The more specific the better too. Don't spare any nasty details. And if that fails start talking about your feelings. He'll be out like a fat kid in a game of dodgeball.

Ralphie May has a really good bit about a similar topic. He says that all relationships should come with "shut the hell up" cards, where you can pull the card and no matter what the person talking had to shut the hell up.

And he says "so if your girl is in a lengthy conversation about her period and says something like how she didn't know much about her period when she was young and just went to school with a couple of extra liners and by 10am bled out so by noon it looked like someone gutted a catfish you can hand her a shut the hell up card"**

And if she starts talking about her mother there's another shut the hell up card.

**Paraphrased from being too lazy to look up the exact wording.

unless he's in the friend zone and doesn't realize it

then he'll think listening will get him somewhere.

That can only last so long, when it comes to listening to women, every man has his breaking point whereby no matter how hot they are, it's no longer worth listening to them talk about their problems. I have a graph somewhere that proves it.
