Posted via Mobile Device
Bone Thugs - East 1999, Resurrection
Luniz - Operation Stackola
Snoop Dogg - Doggystyle
Big Pun - Capital Punishment, Yeah Baby,
Nas - I Am
Kanye West - College Dropout
Cam'ron - Confessions of Fire
Dr. Dre - Chronic, Chronic 2001
Jay-Z - Blueprint
Eminem - The Eminem Show
Masta Ace - A Long Hot Summer
That's more than 10 but oh well.
Lol, I know.
i have them all...game theory was okay but it wasn't as good as what they capable of putting out. You have heard "Things Fall Apart" right? lol
I think Tipping Point was the better album tho since Things Falls Apart. But thats not saying much.
I thought rising down was garbage. It had maybe 3 songs i was fucking with.
That album made me start rappping. And i bought it brand new...do the math.
ahhh you hate on ZOSO??? tis a shame.
they have great songs scattered throughout their catalog, granted, but zoso was the most stacked imo.
stairway to heaven is their magnum opus. its a musical achievement. and something that a lot of people dont realize is, that youre better off listening to the battle of evermore before listening to stairway . then you have songs like black dog, misty mountain top (underrated, if a zep song can be, lol), going to california and when the levee breaks, my favorite song on the whole album
I agree Battle of Evermore is great! Maybe its cliche but Kashmir is always my favorite. I sounds like it was recorded in a castle, lol. I think Stairway is a pretty bad song ONLY RELATIVE to other Zeppelin songs. I just don't understand out of all their catalog that that's the one everyone knows.
Oh and nearly anything by the Roots just might qualify in a top ten albums list.
Timbaland & Magoo - Welcome To Our World
Jedi Mind Tricks - Servants In Heaven/Kings In Hell
Canibus - 2000 B.C.
Eminem - Marshall Mathers LP
Method Man & Redman - Blackout!
Canibus - Rip The Jacker
Common - Be
Jay-Z - Blueprint
50 Cent - The Massacre (obviously GRODT was rawer, but I find the Massacre to be a more pleasant listen, even with all the radio/filler tracks.)
Eminem - The Eminem Show (in comparison to marshall mathers lp, see my comment regarding 50's massacre lol)
This list was off the top off my head, not to mention doesn't include all the non hip-hop ones.
John Mayer - Continuum is near perfection. Same with Led Zeppelin - IV. Hell, I'm a big fan of Britney's 'Blackout' album [insert 'your a faggot' comment here]
Really interesting to see everyone's list.
I tried to include some rap in mine but honestly it's hard to do a list full of my top 10 and have to include something from every genre
i could easy do a top 10 hip-hop, rock, jazz, soul, and country list.
But having to pick between all all them is tough.
Welcome to our world was sik...
Smoke in da air was my favourite song for timeeeeeeee!
no way i could do a top ten, i like entirely too much music to even try.
but i know for certain that doggystyle, and mmlp would be high up there.
Its hard enough to list top Wu-Tang albums
no effing way haha. quote for truth =P
::sings:: all i smell is smoke...in the aiiiiiiiiiir.
you just made me play that song. time to re-visit that album.
Dem were tha days!
Their careers went in extremely different directions...
timbaland was way ahead of his time.
I haven't gotten into ASMZ that much. Liked their latest one. Need to listen to their older shit more definitely.
the melody. like i said, its a musical achievement. then you have the solo. its the greatest rock solo of all time in many minds.
one long solo that shits on everything led zeppelin
YouTube - Cacophony- Concerto
I prefer reverse cowgirl
Highway Man is THE JOINT!
