Yea, it sounds like a bit much, but when you look at it, it really doesn't.
I've got around $42,000 in equipment, and I'll have another $15,000 or so in soundproofing/remodeling in my new studio.

So unless I hit it rich, get a big fat ass grant, then this is as big as my studio will be for about a year or 2.

I don't have any mastering gear as of yet, because I don't feel confident enough to try to master someone else's tracks.
I've decided to go onboard with another producer, who is YEARS above me, being as he's 36-37yrs old, and he's going to teach me the basics of mastering, and what mastering set-up I'd need.

Assuming he shows me what set-up I'll need, then I'll have to take out another loan, and purchase the stuff, as well as re-arrange my studio, thank God I haven't built it yet.
Instead of these Event nearfields, he's going to sell me a new set of his main mastering "mons", which are just...fucking huge, shits like 3ft tall.

What a long ass road to travel...

I'm trying to get a loan but I'm scared to get it because I already have a loan for school. I'm not trying to go into debt and ish. But I want to learn to master but I know it will take years of experience.

Do not even begin to worry on mastering, you have to learn to use equipment, and mix like a pro first.

And Verbalist, seeing as how I no longer sing nor rap, all tracks that will be recorded through my studio, will be artists not affiliated with me, however I plan on having a website dedicated to my studio, next year, and with permission I will post tracks done by each artist.

I was just about to say that. I really need to learn how to mix better. My boy said I shouldn't get that Korg MircoKorg Synthesizer/Vocoder...I've played with it. I like it. It's like a toy and the keys are small but it's still good to me. What you think about it?
