I haven't used any console whatsoever in a long ass time, but I'm about tired of using the mouse non-stop, so I've decided to get a console after all.

It's only about $3,700 with the bridge, and it def has more channels to work with than I may need, but everything else is right on point.

    Here are the specs.
I'm not worried about it being 24/96, as it will be routed through the Rosetta before it hits the Fireface.

32 channels and 16 auxiliary returns for 48 total inputs
    16 busses
    8 Aux Sends
16 analog mic/line inputs with phantom power for condenser mics and analog inserts
24 channels of TDIF and 8 channels of ADAT built in
2 expansion card slots support optional FireWire, ADAT, AES/EBU, Analog & TDIF cards
Dedicated cascade port supports cascade of two DM-3200s
Per channel LED ring encoders for pan, aux sends and EQ
    Built-in DAW control
All inputs, effects and processing are available at 96k -- no features are sacrificed at full sampling rate
    Transport controls
Powerful automation with touch-sensitive motorized faders
EQ and compression on each channel
Two built-in effects processors at 44.1/48k or 88.2/96k
    Flexible routing
Offload data to convenient Compact Flash media using built-in CF slot
    Optional MU-1000 meter bridge
Stylish, professional design with rear panel I/O connections
TASCAM Mixer Companion software (Win XP/OSX) with:
    * Driverless USB connection to computer
    * Backup/restore data via USB
    * On screen timecode, transport and meter displays
    Maximum overall dimensions (w x d x h): 27.6" x 32.9" x 9.1"
    (700mm x 836mm x 230mm)
    Weight 52.8lbs (24kg )

the monitors are plugged into the back of the unit... which is why theres a monitor level control and a monitor mute option available

so back to my original question....

i have to plug in (2) 1/4 inch cables from the amp to the emu1212m...

can i do that using these monster cables?

My next purchase will be a LynxTWO-B, Rosetta 200, Big Ben, Event ASP8, 737SP, and Presonus Central Station.

I'm saving a lot, so I'm trying to order a lot at one time.

not sure, i'm probably gonna get the Grace 101. i dont really need a big console right now, i have a small mixer that works fine. i have the waves diamond bundle and some other ones. also some other Plug-Ins with Direct X, so my audio is fine for now, but the grace would make it much better. however after i save up some, im getting some control center, not sure which one, i'm doing my homework on them.

Mackie Big Knob, Is this what i need to use headphones. I have emu1212m, and Roland mmp2, (is there a cheaper way to go?) and does it require anymore cables to be bought?
