    mine are

    langston hughes- a dream defered
    countee cullen- my favorite poet, fav. poems tableauand incident
    giovanni, sonia sanchez,- all their work
    poetri, shihan- new cats
    emily d.- i stopped for death since he wouldnt stop for me
    saul williams
    leroi jones
    dunbar phylis wheatley
    william rothke
    these are my favorites

    but i read alot of poetry because i majored in literature

    love that cd.
    When the pawn hits the conflicts he thinks like a King what he knows throws the blows when he goes to the fight and he'll win the whole thing 'fore he enters the ring theres nobody to batter when your mind is your might so when you go solo, you hold your own hand and remember that depth is the greatest of heights and if you know where you stand, then you know where to land and if you fall it wont matter, cos you'll know that you're right.....

    thats one long ass album title, jst thort id share cos theres some cool shit in there.

    Only poems i ever read were at school - Blake, Donne and Keats mostly and a few randoms thrown in for good measure.
