witcher 3 is going to be godlike
I've never actually played any of these, but I love watching XCOM, Metal Gear Rising, Devil May Cry and a few others, lol
For me its Guild Wars 2 PC, Ni No Kuni Wrath Of The White Witch PS3 & Tomb Raider 360
Buying Tomb Raider.
Dark Souls got me going for a second run tho, that game is like crack.
Bought Mass Effect 3 as well, gonna start it soon, gotta finish my trilogy gamesave!
I think @JobOne might not have the longest post on RM anymore.
That said I agree with your points on Mortal Kombat (although Deception was my favorite) and Street Fighter, Sonic was cool too.
Right now I'm playing a lot of old N64 games I grew up on. It's funny because I could never beat a lot of these when I was 12 (I have ADD so I never had the patience, plus I'll be honest I sucked at video games) but now I'm doing pretty good at them. I'm trying for 100% completion on a few, which is difficult but I'm slowly moving along.
Youll feel more fufilled beating an older game in comparison to a newer one.
I was wondering why I got mentioned in this thread.
You guys fuck with Fire Emblem: Awakening? That game is my shit right now.
I'm just over 100 hours on my first play through. So much content and replaybility.
It's a really accessible strategy/tactical RPG that is easy enough for inexperience players but with enough customization and challenge for really hardcore players. It's great. I never played a Fire Emblem game before so I eased myself in but after playing for a few hours I started really getting into the mechanics and learning the nuances of the combat and plan on doing a hard run through with perma death on for my party once I beat it.
Does anyone else feel like games before were a lot harder than now?
They are. With technology comes ease.
And easier cheat codes. I was some of my games growing up had cheat codes.
Gta cheat codes made it more interesting.
Indeed, I don't think I'd have beaten most of them without them. If only some of the difficult N64 games had in game cheat codes. (Not counting GameShark)
only way to play....games were much more fun in the day because of cheats
cheaters! but nah gameshark was legit
also my favorite gaming moment was related to gameshark, it was when i beat that game comix zone on genesis without that shit lol
Right now, Bastion is the only one I've played somewhat consistently.
and Plants vs. Zombies
I bought Bastion and never ended up getting to much into it
As for cheats though,
Every game had cheats didn't they? I'm talking N64 too...
I remember a LOT of those games having cheats...
I feel we all used cheats as a youth, to make the game fun or get by,
eventually you just grow out of them.
I personally don't want to make the game easier.
NOT to mention now games don't call these things cheats,
they just offer you unlimited ammo, blah blah blah.
CHEATS that were cool were character ones, that got you new people...To me anyways
Bioshock: Infinite....buy it!
Sent by a Carrier Pigeon called Geoff
Devil's Cartel. Had the dubious honor of coming out the same day as Infinite so it will undoubtedly get overlooked and has been trashed by reviewers but is a lot better than they say.
I fuckin love it.
