    It is...but it is pretty much like that with Black entertainment in general. Whether it be BET television network or Essence Magazine, they're all controled by white execs.

    theres two aspects to the industry

    the promotion/marketing/financial backing

    and the creation of the music

    the arists arent buisnessmen, and the buisnessmen arent artists
