    Let's bet then.

If the Bears lose, I won't post in sports central until the april draft and vice versa for you if they win.

Put your money where your faggot-ass mouth is.

    LMAO

Cut MNF some fuckin slack. Considering all games are picked before the season starts, I'd say it was a logical pick. Or before the season would you have not picked that game? Let me call you a liar in advance you liar.

I would've picked the giants at the falcons, or maybe carolina-baltimore over this game.

    Before the season I would've picked Giants/Falcons, Seattle/Rams, Chiefs/Steelers

I have to agree, there's no reason for this match-up. There's no history between these teams... it's a pretty odd pairing.

Dick Butkus and Jim Mcmahon are in town for the game, they were at a resort in Scottsdale my friend works at.

Also, the Arizona Cardinals used to be the Chicago Cardinals, then St. Louis, Then went to Phoenix and eventually became Arizona Cardinals.

    So, there's history.

Well the Bears are #1. The Cardinals are one of those "early 2000 Clippers" teams with a lot of young talent but haven't found their gel yet.

Why do they choose games after the draft though? NBA waits late as hell for the schedule so that they can hype up shit like the Christmas Day Kobe vs. Shaq.

Exactly. It's just like picking a bust in fantasay football. Nobody here can predict the future. It was a top defense, against what was being looked at as one of the top offenses. Sure Arizona has no line, but who looks at that? Joe schmo cares about recievers, halfbacks, and quarterbacks.

I think they choose early because there are less games. So each game has more importance and impact. So if one of the coaches was told his game was rescheduled he would be pissed off majorly.

Now the real drama is Matt Leainart. The best D vs. a really good young offense with great skill players. The stage is set for Leinart to prove himself, and make the Bears look horrible. Situations like this is where you have to smell blood and go for the kill if you're going to be considered great. Is it going to happen? No. But look for Arizona to somewhat hold their own.

Bears by 17 (which is considered holding your own against those guys)
