I copped my delta 44 and I am testing it out. I wanted to know if it is suppsed to be mono from both #1 & #2 on the outputs... or is mine broken? I was hoping to get an adapter to make the signal stereo

If this is seriously only mono outputs i may sell it on ebay or here

Before you buy it - d/l the manual and read it. You will see exactly what you're getting.

They do a pretty damn good job of showing you different setups you should use.

    Yes, the Deltas are mono.
And DC, all soundcards arent, lol

Les, use a mixer, or find a different card if it bothers you.

i never said all soundcards ARE

I said that's how soundcards are supposed to be.. in this case we are talking about a delta 44... and YES that is exactly how this card is supposed to be... in repsonse to him saying "is mine broken" no it isn't fuckin broken.. that's how IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE =)

Lesbo, you do realize that 1 mono output plus 1 mono output equals a stereo connection right?

well its depends on your set up, without a preamp you can run your mic to your mixer and then into the soundcard, and from the output of your soundcard to your mixer and you'll get stereo sound.

    hope i didnt confuse you

if you have a preamp and mixer run the mic to the preamp them mixer, i believe, then the same as i said above

    correct me if im wrong

you can't really record in stereo unless you have a stereo mic...

I think you mean monitor in stereo, which Y cables or a mixer will help with
