lol...nice work...shit looks dope
looooks fuckin ill.
you want your vocals to be as dead as possible. very nice booth, it looks well built, props on that
hes a rich guy
no, if I was rich, I would have bought one...I'm not...so I built it.
haha u have a pool table and shit dammmit...
well nice booth man.. im feeling it.. im coming there when i goto the ATL..
I live with my parents..they are rich...not me...lol...i buy everything I own.
Now just charge local ²²²²²s to use it and reimburse yourself
Nice Booth man
thats the plan man...
yo...how do you all find local cats to rap with??? Where do you go, what do you do?
i hand business cards out and talk to people at partys and find people at school, ask people if they have friends who rap etc.... a lot of it will be word of mouth
what do your business cards say??
Basement Productions Inc, have the little logo on the left, then address, phone#, website and AIM
all the other stuff is on the website which is coming soon (stuff like pricing, equipment..etc..)
im just gon stick my shit in the cloest....lol
i hate these kids saying its crucial to have a door.
well, a blanket or drape will suffice until u get settled, see ur needs, experiement and actually see if its affecting ur audio
so many variables that could be solved before u put a door on
ps, building ur own shit is pimp. i up you though
in my dorm room, they have a built in closet in my room...normally where u hang close...i hung my mic off of the rack, attached everything....hung a sheet on the backside and now record while on my knee's in a 4 foot space
ghetto, yes....but i have no other choice at this time
im doing the exact same thing ur doing this summer
gluck with it
holy shit...this was 3 pages...didnt see u finished it
ps, im in myrtal beach sc....going to atl in november
im stopping by and stealing it, lmfao
hey....man that foam...u really should have went wit pro foam but ahh o well too late now....well one way to tell if ur sound is where u need it to be....stand inside the booth and just spit a little...and when ur ears feel like they got cotton balls in them....u know ur there lol....heres a pic of mine wit pro foam in it....
I dunno how to post pics....shitty
why should i use pro foam...when they use the same material???
LET ME TELL YOU ALL THE SECRET BETWEEN PRO FOAM...AND THE FOAM I USED...
ProFoam is colored black...mine is beige...
thats about it.
P.S. - let me tell you why mine is better..
notice the zones they put in the foam, to make it more comfy to sleep on...well those zones are different depths, different shapes, etc...so they affect the sound differently...causing more dynamic sound dampening...
let me also tell you why its better...it cost me 60 bucks to do the whole inside...not 600.
i personally shopped around to find bed foam with the same thing the whole way through, not all those areas and shit, i wanted my shit to be the same depth all around, but yea, bed foam is perfect for a home studio application, people will sweat the looks, you get paid, it works jus fine, and costs you a fuck load less
incase u do ever want to look in to pro foam (like wedge foam, in up to 4" densitys, markertek.com has them for VERY cheap, ud be surprised...theyre in 16 x 16 squares, purty nice
