i want to lose weight but i dont understand all this "cardio, rep, set" lingo yall talkin bout..
if you want to lose weight then burn more calories and eat less
yo eg if you plan on getting any supplements go with this shit
naw man, i do all weight excercises. Bench, squats, inclines, etc.
But the only thing i'm trying to build more than tone are my arms.
I've been doing curls and Arnold lifts (over your head) with these 40 pounders for about a month now. Mainly focusing on cardio (im a fat ass) so less weight, more reps, yup. I dont care about being ripped, I'm just lookin to build more stamina and get toned.
EG, you would look extremely weird all buffed out.
Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey = delicious
not really, plenty of shredded dudes at 5'7, 170.
new blog up, including video of some of my power cleans
so you're 5'7?
What do you weigh again?
Right now i'm 5'8" 170-173ish.
I'm just trying to tone up. I'm not cut but i'm solid.
Just need to shred this gut. Lol
im 5'7 155, 160 at the end of the day without taking a dump
yo that black dude jumpin rope was fuckin goin at it mayweather style:
thanks bro. I don't even care about getting washboard abs and shit as long as i can just get a flat stomach. The rest of me holds up well. My chest, back, and arms are good. Just gotta get rid of this gut. Funny thing is i don't drink. And i cut out most carbs. No sodas, only real carbs i get now are from fruit and veggies.
i can jump rope like that with the foot work, but not as quick and not as long. and not criss cross. wow he's insane. and i cant double like that either.
so you basically can't jump rope like that??? Lol
yeah as it went along and showed his upper body i realized just how insane his shit was. i can go quick and bounce around with fairly impressive footwork though. with a few days practice i think i could go beast mode on it. i hate jumproping tho.
I hate y'all...I'm 6'0 170.
I need some of that weightgainer shit...Last time I fought, it was a whole bunch of fast ass punches connecting until I got grabbed. This is why guns exist.
Couldn't knock that man out...
yeah that'll happen
you don't need weight gainer kyle you need to eat. and eat a lot. GO MY FRIEND, EAT!... EAT!!... EAT!!!!!!!!!11
Just a quick side note, probably been said already but
Core exercises are really important
You should incorporate these and then work specific areas around them i.e. biceps, triceps, calfs etc.
those are compound exercises and about all anyone needs to do. they work out everything.
before i was doing this 5x5 program all i was doing was bench, seated press, dips, squats, pull ups, dead lifts, power cleans and back rows. sometimes id do arm machines when my legs were hella sore.
but yeah. compound = the way to go. free weights FTW.
I'm an ecto, I've studied it extensively for a few years, for knowledge, and my own purpose. The rules are slightly different for ecto's then other weight lifters. Which is why I might come across with slightly different methods or routines than what you normally hear or read. I've helped quite a few ecto's and general weight lifters out.
I'm designing my own specific routine/programme this month though, just to see if it does anything different. Will be split into two 12 week segements with 2 different routines running around 4-7 weeks at a time (depending on if I'm bulking or cutting).
Dedication and consistency is the main winner. Past few times I only managed between 8-12 weeks on a programme due to other commitments but I'm going to design one to suit me and see if it works, watch out Arnold. lol.
