Is it me or does hip hop seem to be slowly following the trends of WWE.

I mean all the personalities - and egos
All the over used finishing moves and 808s
You got beefs and alliances - old friends and new enemies

Then you got WWF vs WCW - Interscope VS Def Jam.

Its like today's mainstream rapper is part of some soap opera...

I bet 2pac, Jayz, Nas, Game, Dame, and 50 be chillin in ATL together - watching each others performances and critiquing their emotion during a certain press conference or such..

I was just thinking of how much revenue WWE has brought in turning wrestling into a soap opera - and considering how THEIR network HEAVY weights are the SAME network heavy weights in music -

that this all may be possible.

Yeah - REAL beef exists - but alot of this mess seems fabricated and seemingly comes perfectly when a new album or tour is about to kick off (the arrests, beefs, announcements, shootings)

    What you all think ?

i swear to God D.Skillz i was talkin to my dad the other day about that. When I heard Nas and Jay-Z joined together or whatever I thought that SAME thing. It does seem like a soap opera. I havent even watched Wrestling since the sixth grade because once I realized that all it was, was a soap opera I just stopped watching it all together because it seemed WAY too predictable.

we should start comparing people in hip hop to the people in wrestling lol...

I used to fuckin eat, breathe & sleep wrestling back when Brett Hart, Shawn Michaels, Razor Ramone, 123 Kid n them nikkas was runnin shit.... after that era, shit got gay as fuck. I can't stand wrestling now.

Hip Hop's headed down that same road now.... I blame the media... don't feel like gettin into it though. I'm watchin my Giants rape the Skins right now... so fuckin beautiful
