    he's shooting 4-14 (28.6 fg%) while his teammates are 17-27 (63 fg%)

can someone who's watching the game fill me in on why he's doing this???

35 seconds left in the 1st half with the lakers leading 56-48

    ^ lol

    it's one of two things

    (a) he really wants to play well in this first game in the city of new orleans since hurricane katrina

    (b) he gets so aloof and lost in his frustration over past disappointments with his teammates that he can't even see when they're actually playing well and deserve more shots

good thing his hot-shooting teammates were able to carry him through this poor shooting night to allow him the opportunity to go crazy as usual in the 4th

    kobe bryant: 12-33 (36.3 fg%) with 1 assist
    unsung heroic cast: 28-45 (62.2 fg%)

irrational cultists like rippy mcswine will go nuts over kobe's point total and show in the 4th and act like he "won the game with no help" while still unwisely deriding lamar odom

however, true kobe fans like myself who care about his game and criticize him in hopes that he'll improve and become more well-rounded will see just how valuable lo7 is to kobe's progression

why do you act like this team plays HALF this good 50% of the time?

for once, the rest of the team and kobe traded roles.

and turiaf is still > Odom.

    Odom is still inconsistent.

What did he do against the Spurs? Scored like 13 points.

Kobe's 4th quarter flurries are expected nowadays... lol.

40 points in 4 straight games.

    word

    on 6-8 shooting

i don't think he's mostly to blame for his inconsistency

he's an ill weapon that isn't utilized properly that often

Well who else can you blame for his inconsitency?

You're going to put that on Kobe?

It's up for Odom to bring his game and keep his head in the game.

Kobe can't make him make shots, or play smart basketball, or understand the triangle offense better, or make him believe in himself, etc.

yeah cigma... it's clearly kobe's fault that lamar plays like a pussy and doesn't shoot or gets a charging foul everytime he puts the ball on the floor.

lamar odom looks like the 3rd weapon on the team full of bums lol... Smush Parker makes Odom look like the 1st year player.

its not Kobe's fault how many times do I have to say dat Odom has never been an aggressive offensive minded player? he has never attempted more than 14.1 shots per game in a season he's too unselfish

cigma, of course all of it can't go on kobe, but a great deal of it has to

he's the chief engineer of stalling the lakers rhythm and chances to establish any type of chemistry

whether it's the constant chucking on an off-night when his teammates are red-hot like tonight or the infamous 9-33, 1 AST game against the spurs earlier in the season, kobe has shown himself to be aloof and unaware of the potential long-term detriments he causes to the lakers

stuff like that can bring a teammate's confidence down and have them confused about what they're supposed to do on any given night
