this was one of those songs that goes right over your head. i swear. when the beat dropped i was already partial because I love them throwback beats. like "let's get blown..." that songs my shit, and i sensed the vibe right off the bat. the chords in the back are fuckin hypnotic. just let that shit take you over, and you'll feel it. its on some throwback shit seriously. mj in this muthafucka. quincy jones type shit.

i listened to mj literally everyday from the age of like 3 til atleast I was 7. literally. all of his albums. both sides. on my fisher price record player. when i got sick of hearing them normal, i listened to them chipmunk style. no lie. i also had a little casette player i took with me everywhere I went and i kept the bad and dangerous tapes in rotation on.

please do not question how much i listened to MJ. it was ridiculous how much i listened to him.

yeah its not a bad track, personally i dont think pharrel can sing, but its catchy ill admit, at points it gets annoying, it is kind of elevator music though, its like something you'd expect in a clothes shop or something, really radio friendly music, its not really my style, but i cant hate on them because it will probably be a hit, its different, very different but none the less its alright.

I see you're from Brea, they got those tar pits with the dinosaur bones and shit out there huh. Go do a swan dive into one of those mafuckas and stop telling me what's over my head.

I posted my opinion and you posted right after me with all that "lol @ you!" BS. Not everyone is gonna have the same feeling towards a song as you, and just because someone disagrees it doesn't mean you're onto some shit that's beyond their comprehension. It might just mean they're a different type of person than you.

Whatever tho, you have your opinion of the song, and I have mine. You don't have to get all sour or offended by my taste in music.

And as far as the NBA analogy (which was originally DMX's), you got it messed up and forgot the most important part: The street ballers are always the nicest, because they're hungrier than the ones in the game.

I can never feel you guys out. Especially you heavy into the mainstream/industry shit cats. This sounds like a typical single. Not THAT bad at all. I can't pick apart what about mainstream songs/beats you actually like.

It is what it is. Someone will like it someone will hate it. Someone who can't stand Kanye or Pharrel will like this somewhere. Someone who loves Kanye and Pharrel will hate this.

Doesn't have shit to do with a fucking fanbase, doesn't have shit to do with bad taste.

Why are people even mentioning Kanye, this is a Pharrel beat.

Damn sorry, I would sip and dance to this. Word to the cat that mentioned Prince earlier too...reminiscent of something he'd create and how I would vibe to it.

    I don't know anymore...

Lol that swan dive comment was pretty funny, and I'm sorry if I came off like that. I really do apologize. That was stupid of me to say stuff like that. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. I just didn't understand how everyone just started bashin and dissin this song like crazy right off the bat. The street ballers are the nicest, but a lot of them have problems like EGO's or lack in certain areas. Like one street baller can dribble his ass off but can't shoot, another can shoot the lights out, but can't play D, or one nigga can jump out the room, but he doesn't know how to play team ball...Whereas a lot of the producers in the game are the complete package though we tend to pigeon hole them.

Aside from that you were thinking LA BREA. I live in Brea, they're two completely different places. One's in Orange County and the other's in LA.
