    Cinquain

Cinquain is a short, usually unrhymed poem consisting of twenty-two syllables distributed
as 2, 4, 6, 8, 2, in five lines. It was developed by the Imagist poet, Adelaide Crapsey.

Another form, sometimes used by school teachers to teach grammer, is as follows:

    Line 1: Noun
    Line 2: Description of Noun
    Line 3: Action
    Line 4: Feeling or Effect
Line 5: Synonym of the initial noun.

    Example:
    angels
    kind beyond words
    they protect and forgive
    and make feelings of blissfulness
    cherebum

I just did this shit in school... LMAO...But this is how she said we had to do it:

1st line: Noun (Singular)[This is the title of the poem]
2nd Line: 2 Adjectives (First one capitilized, second one is lower cased, seperated by comma)
3rd Line: 3 Describing words (End with 'ing' 1st word is capitalized, rest is lower cased, sep. by comma)
4th Line: One sentence about the noun.
    5th Line: Synonym of the Noun (Singular...i.e cats=bad, cat=good)

And this is what I wrote.

    Star
    Elegant, vivid
    Revealing, distracting, guiding
The lights of the sky outline many paths and reveal an abundant amount of shadows that follow.
    Light
