Yea, I got the same problem. I’ve learned to just let go and enjoy the cathartic experience of it all without allowing my perfectionism to interfere.

I’ve been doing color field work of late.

[funny], i thought about it a long while ago but didn't make it, and then it slipped my mind

it would have been the perfect name to use to start this thread and post all of those paintings with though

Dali was on some strong weed at the time. This is where the influence for most of his work can be found. His persistent drug use served to stem the creative process.

I've dictated a couple of them to my gf who can do some fine interpretations, but it's just not quite as satisfying.

I'll probably always make shitty attempts, but music composition is enough for me.

also, what's the name of the skull and mirror illusion? I think it has "vanity" in the title. A lot of people have done it, but I still likey.

I don't recall ever having painted that.

And, my memory... 'tis like the most persistent of Steve Prefontaine's... the deepest of reservoirs...

A big thank you to all patrons for their visit and compliments/monies paid.

Unless there is a call for an encore or any late strollers, I'd say this exhibit is now closed.
