damn, man. shaq promised us a championship, but we can't beat the pistons.

they're doing the same formula they did to the lakers when they had payton, kobe, malone, and shaq...

let kobe and shaq (now wade and shaq) get their stats, and shut down the rest of the team. oh well. shaq has 2-3 more years to just chill and make $20 mil a season than retire with a nice career. too bad it'll be a career marked with three rings with the player he hated the most, and not the player he loved playing with the most.

"This is a team that makes a lot of mental mistakes. Dwyane Wade's numbers (29 points, nine rebounds, six assists) don't tell the whole story. He had stretches in this game where his mental errors cost his team. When he tried to force it offensively, he then didn't get back in transition. This is the kind of thing that kills your momentum.

His inexperience showed in letting Rip Hamilton getting under his skin -- this is playoff-level basketball. You can't allow anybody to take you out of your game. The margin of error is so small at this level when you're playing the Detroit Pistons.

Another flaw: the Heat fail to keep Shaq constantly involved offensively. I don't think they run the offense through him enough.

Any time Shaq's getting one assist, the offensive focus is off. He's a point center who can pass out of double teams. But Shaq can't pass the ball to himself -- they have to involve him. Shaq had 28 points in 36 minutes, and yes, his foul trouble hurt, but there were stretches in the third quarter when he wasn't involved. And if they expect Wade to do it in place of Shaq, it's going to be difficult, because Detroit likes to make him play in a crowd." -Greg Anthony

Wade's inexperience???? in playoff-level basketball??!!! D-Wade has only carried the Heat in the postseason 2 years straight. if anyone's inexperienced it's Lebron.

Shaq would have the same hate for wade that he has for kobe if wade was the one that was kept over him in LA.

You read it wrong anyway, he wasn't saying Wade doesn't have any playoff experience. Start from the top and give it another shot.

yeah, i noticed how rip would make wade miss a jumpshot or make wade lose the ball, then while wade is staring at the referee, rip would go down court and wait for a pass for the easy lay-up.

wade is going to have to get used to sneaky defenders if he wants to become a great player.

You guys won't even beat the Nets, the Cavs at that.

any team that has to rely on a worn down at the end of his career Shaq and a tired Dwayne Wade isn't going to go anywhere in the playoffs.
