If there wasn't a Will Smith, most hip-hop that you know and love would not exist.

Yeah, and if there wasn't a Jazzy Jeff, Will Smith wouldn't be shit right now. Jeff Townes made his fuckin career.

the late, great Tupac Shakur rapped one of his first-ever live performances to Will Smith's "Parents Don't Understand".

    Respect, bitch.

Wow you're pretty passionate about this non issue. I agree that Jeff probably made Will what he is (Music Side) but to come on here and hate on him to this extent is flat out gay

Will Smith was Pac's inspiration to become a thug...shit...I never knew that.

I do know that Will suggests Ready To Die should be used in psychology classes.

I think that song is hot garbage. So was "Men In Black," "Wild, Wild West," and "Gettin Jiggy With It." But that's just my opinion. Pretty much everything that he put out under the name Will Smith was garbage. One exception was "So Fresh." I forgot the album that it was on, but it featured Biz Markie and Slick Rick. It had a real old school vibe to it (like something from the Fresh Prince days) and so did the video. Will even had the old school high-top fade. If he woulda put out more songs like that instead of that jiggy crap, he wouldn't be hated on as much these days. Because pretty much every hip-hop head respects and loves the stuff he did when it was DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince.

It's a joint venture, they both made each other what they are today...plus, let's not forget that Will did have "Fresh Prince of Bel Air", an advertisement for his music all in itself

I agree most of his movies suck.

Only opened thread to lol @ the scumbag comment. Someone who has a decent set of morals, and tries setting an example for kids is a "scumbag". Hahahaha ... he might suck, but at least he does himself. More than I can say for all these gangsta faggots.
