maybe its just me but i think he'd easily be a top 5 fighter at 205 in strikeforce.. how deep do they really go? maybe im forgetting some names but i dont think so..

the only thing i can think of is the fact he's on a 4 fight losing streak, if they bring him in and he does become a top 5 or even top 3 LHW in strikeforce it makes the organizations weight class look bad.. being he couldnt even beat fighters out of the ufc's top 10+

The Dean of Mean is a bum now, hence the reason he was cut from the UFC.

Strikeforce always picks up the fighters that don't make it in the UFC.

Its time for them to move away from that.

yeah i seen the fight hes got, thats why i wondered this..

but yeah katz thats what i figured myself, they dont want to continually be known for scooping the ufc cuts, and it'd look even worse if a cut ufc LHW climbs the strikeforce 205 ladder.. it'd make a joke of it

i kinda made the thread a question an answered it, was just curious what everyone elses take was

Funny thing is, he's still better than chuck, yet chuck got to come back like 10 times after getting his ass handed to him. At least Jardine won a few times.......

Jardine would probably wreck shop in strikeforce, maybe they just didn't offer him enough money?

Yeah, I think they are trying to move away from the reputation as a roster of UFC rejects. Honestly I don't agree with that line of thought, as signing ufc rejects and mixing them up with the usual prospects like Mousasi can lead to good things.

Not many people remember Diaz lost in the UFC now. Give people a chance to reinvent themselves.

i think jardine woulda made a run for the lhw title, hands down

jardine would get killed against top LHWs at strikeforce

    feijao > jardine
    king mo > jardine
    roger gracie > jardine
    whitehead > jardine

jardine is already fighting one of strikeforce's middleweights this september, so well see how that goes

I think Jardine would beat Gracie and Feijao most likely.

i agree with you but i always have to throw in that jardine wild card, who really had him beatin chuck goin into that? he pulls shit out his ass, thats what makes him dangerous, i dont think he'd ever win the belt but i think he'd make a good run where he couldnt in the ufc

roger gracie is a good prospect, but he's eventually going to get hit in the face and that will change things.

^roger was pretty comfortable on his feet vs randleman

his striking is actually somewhat decent. he doesnt stand completely upright and uncomfortably awkward like the rest of the gracie clan, while faking push kicks to keep distance out of fear of gettin hit
