I think it's got alot to do with interacting with people you talk to alot on RM..

notice alot of the big collabs lately are based upon if you're cool with someone as a person rather than a talent seek..

plus I think it's entertaining to see what everyone else has to say..

I don't believe anyones trying to "make a move" or anything of that nature.. to me it appears to be all for fun..

I didnt say thats the only reason.
Its just a random theory that I chose.
Like I said there is many people that have done these collabs, you prolly are one. I would like to know why people do these big collabs because someone is organizing a different one everyday. And all of the ones Ive heard havent been good.

You get about 20 cats and most of the cats who are involved arent good at all. Out of 20 youll have 3 thats nice.

your being a dick because i made a topic called a 9-man collab...
It was to get attention so more people would get in there and post... It still is..

    it's not necessarily a 9 man collab

    3 different tracks...3 different beats...3 verses on each...1 title...1 theme
i am on all three as it's for my album, and i play nearly the same character on all three...
however-- they are all going to be placed part1,part2,part3...On a distributed album...If the album gets to america... Idk... the sampling may not be cleared... but for 1 of the 3 beats it already has been.....
the other 2 men are needed for talking... adlibbing...a couple lines here and there to hold discussion with other characters in 2 of the tracks.

When it consists of actual talented people its tolerable, even though I dont prefer listening to a long ass song of random verses from mad different people. But when you see shit like Arkons collab where he doesnt even listen to see if the people that are sayin their down are even nice...thats just for fuckin attention, nobody cares if you have a fuckin 300 man collab. if its wack, its still gonna be considered a fuckin wack track.....and I dunno about you all but i would much rather listen to a WACK ass 4 minute track, than a wack 40 minute track.
