This has been creeping up on my FB feed more than once so I rolled my eyes and decided to watch it. I don't particularly like the claim of "Oh I'm not religious I just have a relationship with Jesus as my Lord and Savior" blah blah. I hear this a lot, but I find the distinction to be rather meaningless. Regardless of the validity of either Jesus' historicity or divinity, one thing is certainly true: he was the catalyst for starting Christianity. It's like saying engines are awesome because they run cars, but cars are evil because they occasionally hit and kill people. Engines and cars are inexorably linked. Likewise, Jesus and the religion he represents. If there's any real conflict it would be Jesus the Son, vs. God the Father. Jesus is mellow and loving, Yahweh is a murderous psychopath. Jesus cried over injustice. Yahweh punishes all of humanity unjustly for 1 woman's "mistake". Father and Son could not possibly be more different, and if that were the subject of this video, I'd be inclined to agree.
