To understand this we must look at the context of it.

they were newely freed slaves that lived 400 years under egyption rulership.
so needless to say most were born under that cultural identity.
egyptians believed in many Gods. most notably horus (ox) and isis.(hawk)
not to mention the pharros themselves were worshiped as Gods.

so now that we know context. lets look at the question again under new understanding

I can't say I agree that they were most certainly slaves of the Egyptians for 400 years (I know the Bible says they were), but I'm already agreeing with you that they were in a polytheistic setting and that it only made sense that they share in that. This is (and was) my understanding.

But in context of slavery under Egypt, are you of the mind that the Israelites were monotheists prior to the slavery and then brought into the polytheism of Egypt, or did monotheism only come later?

Well God chose them as a people, and though he has three interactive entities within himself that can function independently of each other God is one. and he claimed them as their people. not really the other way around. thats not to say that there werent polytheistic influences externally and perhaps even internally within the israelite group at the time. But the years they spent in the wilderness was for that purpose to introduce himself to them in that way. to relieve them of those things that had been engrained in them through their
time there and prove to them that he was THE GOD. thats what the purpose of the
plagues were and as such was the purpose of the experiences they had during the exodus as well.
they certainly began as monotheistic prior to, and certainly were montheistic after the fact.

Yes. they did that. It wasnt a issue until it started causing genetic problems later down the line.

Incest became an issue with the degredation of genetics.
the first humans were direct desendants of God, there was no
diseases a shit like that. It is a problem now, and when God fobid
it because of the problems it began to cause within offspring.
When God commanded the first few generations to "repopulate"
    those issues didnt exist.

Do you have anything to back this up? Or did this come out the ass of your Sunday school teacher who wasn't even so much as qualified to teach the ABC's let alone the complexities of the bible in depth.

Read the bible. Look thru the generations from adam. Check out when exactly incest was forbidden by God.

then go down your family tree, and youll discover why he forbid it when he did.

God's logic kind of confuses me.

Operating under your assumption that we all descended from Adam and Eve, the only way to populate the earth was out of incest. If you start out with two people, then every single person that populates the earth will end up being a result of incestuous relations.

Would an all powerful God make that huge of an oversight?
    @TheBigPayback

Just out of curiosity, do you believe in a literal interpretation of Genesis? As in, talking snake, the expulsion from the garden, the whole deal?

Either uve missed the conversation you are jumping in on or ur exceedingly slow in reading comprehension cus im pretty sure this has been covered.

what about the fall in particular alludes your understanding.
Or by whole deal do you mean you would like clarification on the entire concept of
Paradise, the fall of man, depravity, and the consequence of their actions.
