Seems legit imo....
Although I believe Jesus was a real person, I don't take issue with those who question that. But I have to take issue with and seriously question conspiracy theories about the invention of Jesus by the Romans or anything like that. I don''t think they can stand up to scrutiny (an assumption, surely, but based on the belief of most scholars - even atheist ones like Bart Ehrman), but I'm definitely interested in reading up more about it.
@Ass Napkin Ed
Well M-theory - we only know of Jesus through Roman Scholars
even the name Jesus is a Greco-Roman name. The new testament that tells us about Christ is written in Greek (Rome's language at the time)
Its highly impossible that any of the characters in the bible ever existed as real people
I'm a super. I should be able to rep AliceHouse as many times as I need to.
he/she/it's going ham sammich in hurr
I don't know who you are, but you have Clown as your avatar so clearly I love you.
He was the best part of the movie.
are you claiming - by your video rebuttal - that the Flood story in Genesis is not stolen from the much older text - the epic of gilgamesh?
also - 'Stitchen' didnt discover the Sumerian Tablets and neither is an Expert on the Subject.
No but sitchen is largely the major influence in their representation to the public.
Stitchen - is a major influence in the 12th planet / alien ideology
he used the sumerian tablets as his crutch to support his own ideas of alien life existing on the planet
the reason he did this - because he knew the Sumerian Tablets were the Oldest Written Texts in Human History - and tried to connect that with existing Alien Life forms
Dr York and many others did the same thing
No the video is claiming its colaborative evidence that a global flood event took place.
Noah was from the twelth generation just because the books of moses were written at a later period doesnt take away from the event happening long before any sumaruans even came on the seen. the bible is recalling an event that happened long before moses put pen to parchment.
The event is first recorded by Ancient Sumer
as well as the creation story of mankind
there is no collaboration
there is the very 1st and other renditions after that
we can not trust anything from the Torah and what Moses wrote as fact
for instance - in Deuteronomy - it describes whats happening at Moses's funeral
how could Moses have wrote that being it describes his own funeral and burial?
too many loopholes with the Bible
would rather trust the source it originated from as fact
Conseus is the final verses of duetetonomy were either written prophetically by moses or joshua.
written prophetically by Moses?
his own funeral?
this is what you honestly believe?
Also, if Cain was marked for all to see, who the hell would see him? And what village did Adams famile eventually settle down in?
Came to my own conclusion that the bible might be a story that traces one bloodline/race of people, makes more sense.
yeah but Cain wasnt so marked - that he was able to pick up a wife, have a family, and build a city named after his first born - Enoch
guess some didnt think that he was that bad
Cain and abel were the first of many brothers and sisters that were offspring of adam and eve. it wasnt just them.
The curse of Cain and the mark of Cain are phrases that originated from Genesis 4 where God declared that Cain, the firstborn son of Adam and Eve, be cursed for murdering his brother. A mark was put upon him to warn others that killing Cain would provoke the vengeance of God, that if someone did something to harm Cain, the damage would come back sevenfold.
