Denver just won its division and got a 3 seed for it, but cuz they got better record, clips got home court.

    Clippers are the truth

because they're a lower seed...hence,elminating all purpose of having playoff seeds in the first place...

that would be a good argument if the clippers had a worse record, dummy

denver, having the worse record than the 6 seed, but still being the 3 seed because they won their divison is far more ridiculous than rewarding the clips, who have the better record, with home court

    denver fucked it up

the whole idea of having Divisions is to be rewarded for winning ur division....yet Denver is playing on the road...im not blaming either team...its the Nba's fault....but a 6 seed should not have home court over a 3...period.

The division winners is rewarded by being marked as "division winner" in the history books.

What shall be the reward for playing tough throughout the season and achieving an outstanding record then?

The reward for winning your division is being assured a playoff seed.

Denver's overall record was the same as Sacramento, but Sacramento has a much better conference record- so without winning their "division", Denver wouldn't be in the playoffs (but that's slanted because I have no idea how much Den's starters rested at the end of the season).

Being assured a playoff seed is more than enough reward as far as I'm concerned.

I love the NBA's system of better record determines home advantage- unlike the NFL for example. Anyone who wins a shitty division should not be automatically given home advantage.

It'll be even better next year when teams like Cleveland and Dallas won't get forced playing in the "tough" bracket because of the way it's set up now.
