The Lost Tapes is classic... I doubt anything could ever blow it out the water. It might match up..... aint beating it though.

    No Idea's Original
    Blaze a 50
    Black Zombies
    Poppa was a Playa
    Doo Rags
    My Way
    Fetus
    Purple
    Drunk by Myself

    .................

for real, I'm dling the Revival now......but I seriously doubt it even comes close

The Lost Tapes is one of nas best albums
It Was Written, Stillmatic, The Lost Tapes, I Am, Illmatic

thats how you may switch a couple of ums places but its one of his best

  7. theres 2-3 songs on the Royce CD that are the most creative songs ive heard since some OLD Nas shit..

and the rest of the CD just blows everything thats came out in the past 5 years or more out the water

once again im not feelin the "so crazy" beat celph..

i definately see where youre coming from self, for a scrapped cd its nice..

i just think the whole package aint too great, the beats arent that great.. ive thought that about his last couple of cd's..

just shit like invys comment above me, "blows everything thats came out in the past 5 years or more out the water", i think thats goin a bit crazy with it..

lol i dunno about nas gettin "murked"

but it would be a lot closer if royce had similar status to nas..

and you need to re-listen to nas' 3rd verse on ether if you think it doesn't match up to a cheeseburger type punchline.. it was that vicious it almost brought jay-z to tears..

    first

Sizzy we cant talk beats in this thread because nas doesnt ever have any wow type beats... I can say the same thing for Nas whole catalogue... terrible beats... but these beats aint bad... you got Bink, Nottz, Premo, and July 4th on here theres no way they could be bad...

and yes Nas would get embarassed

cmon lets be honest... Ether wasnt that good wasnt no lines like that... What Royce did to FAB shoulda solidifed the fact Nas aint near him in that category... and Nas "beat" I barely can battle ass Jay Z...

okay royce got some energy but you're here acting like nas just gonna roll over.. he's a veteran in the game, royce prolly looks up to him and nas don't even know who he is.. if anything it'd be close as hell.. someone like FAB would get murked cuz he's a rookie behind the mic, but cats like jay, nas, royce, budden, em, jada have all got proven track records and are pretty much on an even footing..

    wow

    celph

you're soundin a little biased (to put it mildly lol)

for me - Lost Tapes - I havent had Revival spinnin all that much yet - it hasnt really had the time to hit me like lost tapes. However, i think Revival is pretty nice for sure, but in the end - i still dont think it will catch up to Lost Tapes.

Lost Tapes is fucking remarkable to me - Revival is damn good - big difference.

I like what Nas speaks on more than Royce - comparin content is almost like comparin a teenager to a grown ass man. No hate to royce, he's nice - but Nas is on a COMPLETELY different level.

And i think damn near anyone NOT from detroit would tell you that.

Nas is nowhere near Royce in any technical category aside from lyrics

    flow
    delivery
    Hooks

add that to the fact he talkin bout shit that the normal hood nigga wanna hear... and u got the better artist... i never been a big nas fan... just it was written, stillmatic, and the lost tapes
