i'd definitely take my chances with double ML's ancestors over the strong native american warrior

the weak samurai followed a code that stressed things like:

Benevolence (仁, jin?) - A samurai takes every opportunity to aid others, and creates opportunities when they do not arise. As a powerful individual, a samurai has a responsibility to use that power to help others.

Respect (礼, rei?) - A samurai has no reason to be cruel, and no need to prove his strength. Courtesy distinguishes a samurai from an animal, and reveals one’s true strength.

Care for the aged (悌, tei?)

not to mention they often pussied out and killed themselves through seppuku whenever they disgraced the code

    all too easy to defeat

and, that's why double spits on their graves and damns their name

I'd actually be more afraid of a Ninja, they're on some hiding in the shadows and chop your head off before you know what's happening type shit.

I know Native Americans did they too but there were no one on ones with ninjas...they'd just simply kill you

Seriously though, nobody knows any Historical Samurai or can recount any great battles or achievements that they won. Fuck the Samurai. If it wasn't for Hollywood, the Japanese wouldn't even remember them.

The fact that you have to ask that shows your ignorance.

    Sitting Bull
    Black Hawk
    Yonaguska
    Sequoyah
    Pocahontas
    Geronimo
    Crazy Horse
    Red Cloud
    Etc

You know, it's one thing to genuinely disagree with somebody, but stalking a man from thread to thread trying to argue everything he says is pathetic. Grow up.

the fact that you have to ask that shows your ignorance.

Gensai Kawakami- the model for Himura(Rouroni) Kenshin one of the 4 Hitokiri's, and the most famous of the 4.
    Tanaka Shimbe(one of the 4)
    Izo Okada(one of the 4)
    Nakamura Hanjiro(one of the 4)
Miyamoto Musashi(one of the greatest and most famous samurai)
    Sasaki Kojirō
    Yagyū Jūbei Mitsuyoshi
    Muso Gonnosuke
    Minamoto Yoshiie
    Hattori Hanzō(sound familiar?)
    Takeda Shingen
    Uesugi Kenshin
    Minamoto no Yoshitsune
    etcetera motherfucking etcetera

just about all of those listed have been referenced in modern pop culture and/or have films made about them.

Hollywood?? lol....oy vey. The Japanese have made an insane amount of samurai films. There are more films about Samurai(a particular period warrior) than about Native Americans(as a whole). if anything, Hollywood has popularized and kept the memory of the traditional native american alive much more so than any native american alone ever has...not to mention any samurai film that they have produced. Japan(and the world) doesn't need Hollywood to glamorize and remember the samurai.
if it wasn't for hollywood.....lol fuck.
