didn't see it when it happened seeing as how I don't have the channel bellator's on and don't feel like tracking it down, but it was pretty badass.

terribly sloppy hook, but it landed where it needed to on horrible defense.

    nice knockout though.

Remember that Hector was mostly known as a judo guy ( I hold a black in Judo and that's how I first heard of him nearly a decade ago) so his striking needs real work...but boy does he pack POWER. Truth is? Most MMA guys are generally poor strikers, and barely proficient in the overall art of striking in the eyes of most strikers and MMA guys know that they deserve that assessment. But they have the versatility to take you out of your game and beat you if you're a specialist. And that's to be admired.

true most mma guys are poor strikers. but they have the disadvantage of smaller gloves and of having to watch out for kicks, the tackdown, etc. id love to see an mma guy box a well known boxer. they tried that with tony vs. couture but we all knew couture would take him down and hold him down

Awhile ago,Anderson Silva mentioned he wanted to box with Roy Jones Jr. and RJJ said he'd box Anderson AND fight MMA vs Anderson...but Dana White shot that down.Dana claims it's because he didn't want MMA to become a "spectacle" and it's "good for MMA" to avoid such a showdown. The REAL reason,I think,is because Roy would insist on millions of dollars commisserate with his boxing paydays,so would Anderson, and then all the UFC talent would insist on making more money because EVERYONE knows that most MMA guys are criminally underpaid so megacompanies like the UFC can make all the money instead of the talent getting an equitable share.

roy jones isn't quite wat he used to b physically I'd have to say silva would win. Dana doesn't want it to happen bcuz it won't b ufc santioned they want to box.

RJJ is probably the best boxer ever without parkinsons that could be given fits by a boxing amateur at this point in his career.

Arlovski was said to have done quite well against Oquendo.
