Im not resorting to anything. But opinons on rappers in HHC differ then AEH. Niggas love under dogs here and it's true that's all.

So in AEH they only like Jay-Z, and in HHC they like Jay-Z and Nas.

You should only like 10 rappers... 15 at the most. If you listen to anything else outside of internationally recognizable pop star rappers, with inexhaustible crossover appeal, or bump any songs that everyone doesn't know all the words to, you're just some kind of autistic introvert.

Cool people only listen to what's on the office-environment friendly, easy listening station that everyone can equally tolerate. Anyone who listens to and enjoys something else on their own time is obviously a Satan worshiping Muslim terrorist who hates America, and more than likely a communist who hates capitalism.

yo, i can see @J o o k's point. statistically, Jay is the greater rapper.

greater and better differ though. Nas is a much better rapper. Jay is a better business man, meaning hes more successful.

this goes back to my post originally in this thread. you can look at it two ways. numbers or opinions.

Out of all rappers i listened to be it underground or mainstream, props would still go to Eminem. Personally his delivery is one of a kind, lyrically and his flow everything is on point! went through like all his albums

SMH at jay z dick riders. Jay aint even a top 20 RAPPER dead or alive. Hes a top 3 artist and top 10 goat but as a rapper hes not even that close to people like nas or black thought. Anyone who compares commercial success to skill is automatically irrelevant in a discussion like this.

Lets be honest here, jay z is pretty average over weak beats. Hes a really good rapper but there are literally like 20-30 rappers who would kill him on a collab in thier primes. His whole career relies on good production and using whatever sound is popular in the mainstream. Hes a smart guy and a very good business man but anyone that money driven will sacrifice quality for success, thats how the commercial market works and thats whats happened with jay z's music. He hasnt made a dope album in 10 years since the black album, jay fans definitely enjoy those albums but most people dont. Hes a couple of albums away from having more bad albums than good ones.

    Nas
    Pac
    Biggie
    Pun
    Big L
    Black Thought
    Eminem
    Rakim
    Kool G Rap
    Krs One
    Scarface
    Ice cube
    Andre 3000
    Redman
    Common
    Pretty much every wu member
    Pharoah monch
    Masta Ace
    Rass Kass
    AZ
    Styles
    Jada

All these rappers would best jay on a track in thier respective primes and theres probably a bunch of other people im forgetting.

I disagree. I haven't cared about Jay really since he returned. To me, Nas makes better music. Its opinion.

I haven't even heard it. I checked the first one he dropped coming back and bp3. They were fine. My problem isn't that I dislike him. I just have no interest in listening to him anymore.
