    With all due respect...

What reason could you possibly have for refusing a client a tracked out version of a beat they purchased the exclusive rights to?

How could they verify that you were the producer who actually composed the material in question?

I can't see you putting that over on a knowledgeable artist.

Thats why when I sell my beats to artists I usually like to be in the studio and I record them and I help them get to the finished product. Because :

    A. I hate to see any of my beats go to waste
    B. It speaks volumes if the artist has a whack recording, not that they're actually whack
    C. If its got my name on it, even as simply being the producer or composer, I want it to sound good, whether 20,000 or 200 people will hear it.

I have all my beats tracked and stored away and ready to go, they're all mixed down and are ready to be laced with vocals. Makes shit easier for me, I save them as a bundle and re-open them when I need to record the vocals.

    as far as i know

ive sold a couple beats tracked out an the songs were mixed in protools

basically you get the wav files for each part of the beat seperate, then jus add those files to pro tools.

How will a split sheet/production contract stop someone from raping your session for sounds and shit?
