Skate shoes due to thier awesome ability to absorb shock.

They can't be taped down, they're way too big. I've just given up on jump roping, its alright though. I kept up with my ab routine and I can definately see a difference.

No, I dont work out in skate shoes..

I jump rope in skate shoes.

They're actually one of the (if not THE) best shoes you can get for shock absorption.

Big difference between working out, and jumping rope.

jumping rope is working out lol, a lot of my workout is made of of supersets, so sometimes ill jump rope for 5 minutes then go right to pull ups, then right to •••••• bars, then to cable external rotations, then medicine ball push ups, then another 5 minutes of jump rope, then repeat, all no rest. so i incorporate the jump rope into my workout. even if i just do it as a warm up i wouldnt really put on different shoes to absorb the "shock" better

and wtf @ "big difference between working out and jumping rope" lol... you jump rope to work out... you dont do it for fun, you do it to get a sweat going, it works out your arms and your legs. it helps improve endurance. its a work out.

idk i never thought of using skate shoes to do that, i mean theres not really any shock to be absorbed your only jumping like an inch off the ground (if that) if your doing it right. are you recovering from some sort of leg injury or something? if not theres no problem with using your normal workout shoes to jump rope, they are much lighter than skate shoes

I used to just run the track 5 nights a week..but yesterday I decided I would make the switch from running to jump rope..I've never done it before so it took me a while to get the hang of it..but I got it down..I'm gonna be doing the jump rope for 45 minutes to an hour each night and also doing up downs and sprints..

yea you need strong legs, get a power jumper and do lots of doubles, high knees (tons), backwords, forwards, the high knees with the power jumper will be best, and also single leg jumps with the power jumper. do one leg for 60 seconds, switch legs, and go like that until they are dead
