Seriously? Who the fuck YOU think fuckin' wit Lu in this day and age, putting the creativity, passion, and just plain ol' thought in music?

American Gangster was easily the only CD I would consider to be over The Cool in 2007.

And Nas (and even Hova) may not be what he used to be, but the fraction that they are is still considerbly better than half these cats out today...

    Papoose is weak.

Saigon is good but waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy overhyped.

this is whos been in rotation latley tho.

    1. Redman - niggas STILL sleep on dood.

    2. Ghostface - most consistent, even tho his shit is fuckin weird sometimes.

    3. Elzhi from Slum Village - SV album & mixtape shit.

    4. Lupe - still crackin food & liquor plus some of his mixtape drops.

    5. Bun B - yeah i said it, fuck you.

most recent dissapointment - Beans "The Solution".

pist when i heard that shit.

I can't believe all these posts and ain't one person mention Chamillionaire. If you call bullshit on this one, go pick up Get Ya Mind Correct and listen to the lyrics. Pick up any of his old Screwed mixtapes, Bobby Booshay, Homer Pimpson, any of them. Whut It Dew is ridiculous too. In my opinion Cham is one of the best lyricists out there. His major shit was pretty good, he went pretty political on Ultimate Victory, but his undergrounds are incredible. Check out his Rap City freestyles, anything but the shit you hear on the radio and you'll understand. Pick up Mixtape Messiah and hear that nigga smash Dyke Jones so hard I would have quit rap if it were me.

As far as the other 4, I'd have to say Ludacris, Lil Wayne, Eminem, and Twista.
