G35 is about the best deal you can find right now....

Plus, i'm a sucker for styling...which the r32 fails at miserably.

R32 is a great car, due to the turbo package and the general hp you can add onto the car with simple bolt on products. ALTHOUGH, G35 is one of Nissan's finest (In my opinion) . The twin turbo package you can pick up for that car (aftermarket) would blow your mind away. I don't know if you get Import Tuner magazine where your at, but if you do, pick up this month's issue, g35 on the cover. Twin turbo

LOL.. i like VW's and modify them all the time.. and even I know.. The R32 is not even in the same league, fuck it shouldn't even be spoken in the same sentence as the G35 coupe.

They are not in the same price.

The r32's can be had for about 27g's.. The only thing the R32 has over the g35 is AWD. IF you live in the NE, then I can understand getting a R32, cause the G35 is SHIT in the snow.

Otherwise, on a price to price comparison... the G35 cost about 8g's more depending if you get the 6spd or not. Which is only the smart thing to do when purchasing a G35. But the best bang for the buck, I still feel is the G35. If you have a beater car that you can drive in the winter.. then the G35 would easily be the best choice car to get.

I'm in Germany right now and I've driven the r32.

    Bro, get the G35.

The R32 seems slow for its power.

I think this is the last time VW should put AWD in a Golf.

Better yet..go for the 2005 Mustang GT :)

It feels slow cause it is heavy for it size.. cause in actuality the both run low 14s stock.

I own the G35 6speed manual... got it last fall and still get a high driving it at insane speeds! When my warranty runs out (not like there'll really ever be any problems to be honored) I'll install a supercharger (not turbo) and get it tuned correctly. The car already has a ton of power so it really doesn't need an upgrade in my opinion. At the track, I autocross it every now and then - the Miata's and RX8's always win cause f the tight right angle turns and zippy maneuvering. The 35, on the other hand, excells well overall and gets you on the entrance ramp on the highway nicely :)

No it wins cause the Miata is probably the best handling car in SCCA autox competitions especially when you have drivers like J.Randolph Saucier.

But anyway.. what class are you in, that you are running with Miata's.

The best auto-x cars right now are still the 99 miata, S2k's and Mr2s. Rx's aren't really that impressive... only in certain local events maybe.
