which game genre needs the biggest overhaul?

    no the thread is obviously about genre's...not consoles....

    and obviously 1 genre that has died in modern gaming is the point and click adventure....which is little by little coming back to pc's and is slowly trickling back to consoles because of the wii and nintendo ds controls....

    I'm just amazed how this cat can question my game knowledge (which i never once claimed to even have..lol) yet dosn't even know about point and click adventure games??? like holy shit......that's like not knowing pong.....

    alot of genres. but you can't really do much about them.

    fighting can only get so complex before you stray from what's succesful. same with racing, and war games.

    I cant believe no one mentioned Soul Calibur as one of the greatest 3D fighters out there. Now that game owns. And by the way Tekken 6 and Soul Calibur IV are both gonna be online on PS3.
