So? When do you think the age to stop rapping, not liking it, but actually producing the music and trying to "get a deal?" This doesn't apply to any artists that are already signed/famous ... I'm talking about cats no one has ever heard of. I think 28 max 30. You?
i dont think theres an age limit as long as you keep your raps to your age... nothing wacker than a 35yr old rapper still rapping about highschool bullshit.
thats all i do, Its my life nawmchompsky? how bout i dont rap, thats much more impressive for me. But one day i will play the harmonica for you. Im awesome.
Unnecessarily large red sig with a link didn't stand out enough? Non's an eminemulation. There's no age limit to self expression through music, even if it is rap. But it looks like you mean trying to make it big, then I'd say 24-27. At that time you should know your momentum enough to decide whether to continue.
Unless you're a novelty act like Eminem: early 20s. Honestly, if you don't have anything about you that sets you apart from a competitive field of dope rhymaz, you're probably wasting your fucking time.
"You kinda slow, you need a new career, you kinda old You need to hang the mic up on the wall like a souvenir" ....a rapper once said
Being too old to watch sports or being too old to actually play them professionally are two different things. Same's applied to making a rap career happen.
But if rap fans are getting older - teenage rap fans from the '80s are now about to hit their 50's - why do rap performers have to be for youth only? Why can't a 50-year-old rapper start a career with musical content for his contemporaries?
Because it'd be a lost market - how many people do actually keep up with music when they hit that age? It's mostly pitty nostalgia plays reminiscing of the 'ol memory lane..
