    I'll start off benching near my max and do like 3 sets of 3 reps, then I'll take off a couple weights and do another 3 sets of 3-7 reps depending on how much I take off, then I'll take off more and max out my last set on that, eventually as the cycle continues, I'll take off so much weight that I get down to the 20lb bar alone, after that I go through the motion with my arms alone until I rupture a blood vessel in my neck. sike, I don't go that far lol, but I do reduce the weight one or two times to get a nice burn going.

    you should cycle how many reps you do..ex. 3 sets..mine usually looks like sets of10, 10, 8, 8, 5, 5, 3, 3, 1-3... 1st week is lighter, then a heavier..i lift with the owner of my gym though who is a personal trainer
