    ...it's usually the longer way with getting stuck in the worst traffic jam imaginable.

    Also, the fact gps is trying to punk a person isn't helping.

    either that or dirt roads n shit.. getting lost is usually part of the "I know a shortcut" ordeal.

    ^Usually, I'll say it's not a trip unless someone gets lost at least once along the way, however it's the drivers convienced they'll get to a certain part of the town sooner by making a few "shortcuts" that in turn result in being the worst choice ever.

    theyve worked out more times than not for me. Enough times that whenever i think to take one or someone suggests one i take the chance.

    granted all my shortcuts are rush hour shortcuts. Or scenic route ''shortcuts'' that arent really shortcuts just a prettier drive...
