right now I'm in total cutting mode because I broke my foot while on a military training exercise. so since I cant run, or do much cardio, I'm trying to keep a super lean diet.

Really, just lean meats, fruits, vegetables, brown nice, and milk.

Used to have Crystal Light, but now it's just water. Though, I'll have it once in a while.

Cheat meals, rarely. Just seeing the stats on some food makes me want to eat them less.

Might I add, I believe breakfast is the most important meal of the day which is why I always microwave my left over Indian Takeaway for at least 5 minutes to ensure the correct temperature and to keep in the goodness!

    chicken
    eggs, egg whites
tuna (once a week - otherwise too much mercury)
    brown rice
    ezekiel bread
    unsalted natural chunky peanut butter
    raw almonds
    romaine lettuce
green, red, yellow peppers, carrots, asparagus, broccoli, beans, spinach
hot sauce (capsaicin is phenominal for your metabolism)
oatmeal w/ cinnamon & honey (both are great for your metabolism too)
    strawberries, blueberries, apples, raspberries
    cheat meals on weekends

any time you do cheese, milk, yogurt, etc. you want to go FULL FAT. Anything less than whole has been stripped of nutrients and replaced with sugar. don't fall for that "less fat = healthier" bullshit. fat is good for you if you're not having it excessively and from the wrong sources.

almond milk, rice milk, much better than normal milk or soy.

watch out for a lot of bread. they say whole grain or 9-grain or whole wheat, but really are just processed breads with high fructose, hydrogenated wheat or somethin like that and are actually terrible for you.

ezekiel is like 3.99-4.99 US for a loaf, but it's worth it imo. you know what you're getting.

also, that shit has to stay in the fridge or it goes bad after a week.

Damn, have NEVER heard someone say whole grain can be horrible for you. What I've been feeling lately is this grain called Quinoa. It has more protein than your average white/brown rice, tastes great in a stirfry, too.

that's because most people blindly accept "whole grain" on the label as healthy. just like they think the 9-grain bread at subway is healthier...truth is, a lot of companies put HFCS in their breads, so you're just getting a caramel-colored white bread essentially.

check the ingredients on any wheat product you buy, and any juice/sauce/flavored liquid substance you buy - you'll be surprised about a lot of shit you never would have thought of.

Somehow I manage drink few glasses of water as soon as I wake up. Since breakfast is the most important meal I will have a healthy balanced diet for it. Toasted bread with eggs, cheese or butter and some vegetables would be my breakfast. Fruit juice will follow it for sure .
For lunch I am getting red rice and curries. My favorite desserts are soya ice cream and fresh fruits. Curries will include vegetable salads, fish and meat. I frequently get a light diet for dinner. It would be noodles/ hoppers/ string hoppers or sandwiches and a glass of fresh milk.
