    Thats exactly it.

Your taking certain things that feel comfortable to you and saying
" there is no heaven, or God lets everyone go to heaven, or God doesnt care wether yadayada as long as your a good person."

Your tailoring God to fit your needs. Theres a name for that.

in another thread you said this:

so assuming you really believe that, the water in the cup should logically correspond with the water in the pitcher. i.e. you are your own god.

Not true. The cup is still subject to the pitcher. Your presenting your case like the something from nothing idea. The cup didnt, doesnt, cant fill itself.

fair enough, poor choice of words on my part.

what i was actually trying to say is that if god breathed life into each of us and we are a reflection of his spirit then it seems that looking inward for god is perfectly appropriate.

wrong. Heaven and hell are what's logically impossible. The scriptures are what's morally wrong with it. God fails in all areas

Oh really. And the 20 years uve lived on earth give u the credentials to approve what is and isnt logically possible ey. I think u just more or less proved the point with that one.

im not 20. BP that is easily one of your weakest arguements ive ever heard. you are stating that my age has anything to do with the ability to evaluate a situation "possible" or not.

you look at "god" as the standard to everything that is right and it isn't. the bible was not the beginning of morals.
