Alot of CD's go out of print like Ras Kass Soul On Ice which now goes for 40 dollars on amazon. Thats a very rare find. Stuff like Jay-Z reasonable Doubt I think is rare and out of print just because he switched distribution after the first album. Same reason it'll probably be hard to find Aesop Rock's Float and Apple Seed EP or the Music for Earthworms originals.

Jay did a rerelease of Reasonable Doubt a few years ago though and he added the bonus track Can I Live II on it...I agree though didnt seem to be in the store for too long. Amazon is the best way to get old classic shit.

If I coul dbring back a record i'd bring back Sporty Theivz "Street Cinema" with the No pigeons bonus track on it. I got the 1st print without the bonus track on it, I love that shit though.

AMENNNNNN. I had those 2 albums downloaded on my comp and I made a cd that kind of combined both albums on one cd but thats definitely some shit right there. Classic albums. Ahhhh brings you back to the 90's with that.

indeed...a good amount of shit that goes out of print get's re-released (though, even then, sometimes THOSE go out of print).

I've sold quite a bit of OOP CD's on eBay over the last couple years. There are some that used to sell for $50 that you can't sell for $5 these days, not because they were reprinted but because eBay's creation of a global market "increased" the supply and demand for some OOP CD's decreased as everyone started using eBay to snatch them up.

When I first start selling I sold a Raw Fusion - Live From The Styleetron CD for like $50. Now you're lucky to get $50. That Ras Kass used to sell for $80.

If you're selling, it also helps to know what labels have folded. Anything Wild Pitch is usuall a gold mine (except for less popular albums) and No Limit releases prior to 1998 (when P had to turn over his masters to the govt because of tax problems) are worth a pretty penny too, though he re-released Ghetto D, Ice Cream Man and some others last year.
