Seen any of these shows about it?
i believe jesus was a real dude so whatever, its possible its real.
Likely that it held a corpse for some body in the past. The chances it was the Son of God are extremely minuscule. More likely it was just from some ancient priest's prop box to fool the weak minded into worshipping. Until theres something like a non-invasive scanning tool (cause you know they'll never let someone cut a piece right from the center) and human cloning machine set up (to find out if its Bob from 2000years ago or actually Jesus) we'll never know. Plus you would think even just the genomes in the DNA would be different if it was godly, if we know what humans look like it would be a simple comparison. Maybe it would be on some mutant super human no decay no junk dna type stuff. But the fact that its such an easy little test means it will never publicly be done. The church doesnt have THAT much belief in the religion to risk a ancient relic being made mundane.
"Very small samples from the Shroud of Turin have been dated by accelerator mass spectrometry in laboratories at Arizona, Oxford and Zurich. As controls, three samples whose ages had been determined independently were also dated. The results provide conclusive evidence that the linen of the Shroud of Turin is mediaeval."
Ya. I agree. But i belive it has been tested now an the blood was a/b
That was wrong they took that sample from a part of the cloth that was repaired in that date from the fire
As well as there are paintings that even depict people holding it in the exact area that they took tue sample. It was a very retarded situation
i thought that the shroud had been tested somehow to see how old it was and the date was way off making it impossible for it to b jesus. it was a tv special
See my post^
^^^i did. but elaborate
no se kien es
Is the Shroud of Turin even consistent with the Bible?
In what way how it was around his body u mean?
There has been several new studies. The latest hostory ch show is more up to date. That study is almost 20 yrs old.
In John Ch. 20 it refers to a napkin "about his head" that was lying apart from the linen cloth. But the Shroud of Turin covered the whole body including the head. So does the cloth according to the Bible cover just his body or his head too, if there was a napkin or smaller piece covering his head?
You are correct. There is a second cloth that would have wrapped his head as well i believe this one just wouldve went over that and over his entirebody because of the size. You can kinda tell by the blood this one couldnt have been wrapped tightly
I'll be checking out the newest shows I can find. It's a pretty interesting subject I must say. I've never really paid much attention to it in the past.
There was a show on today examining the 40 days between Jesus' resurrection and the rise into Heaven
Had a segment on the shroud
