I was writing reviews and droppin' rhymes on the krib when Kpucha noticed me and invited me over... RM was just starting up at the time. I didn't immediately join because I had loyalties to another rap site. However, in Aug. '99 we had the intersite battle between RM and my old site, which caused me to join. I stayed and my old site eventually folded.

I wonder that all the time LOL

I do, but to be honest I've never been a big music junkie. I listen to the radio. I think part of my looking here was to search for more options. I listen to the radio, and I recognize what I'm listening to but I can rarely tell you who it is. I've always been like that tho with most music.

I'm a big music junkie... I've even considered getting into the biz at one time, either as a rapper, a producer, or a music journalist... but those dreams are dashed.

I don't listen to urban radio... when I do listen to the radio, I listen to either a sports station, NPR which plays jazz and the news, the local college radio which plays all kinds of music and this Christian station.... and every now and then, I'll listen to the soft rock station... I'm not as big on soft rock as I used to be, though.

Okay, just checking... because today's kids think old school is relative to your age.

What is it, 2007 now? So that means 2001 is now "old school."

I've been meaning to get this album for the longest, simply for the first song... it came out in '98 and it is the quintessential, sing-along song with your windows rolled down, cruising the strip on a Friday afternoon after work:

Cool! Falco LOL Toy Soldiers always makes me teary eyed lol Yeah, Husband would love that CD too.

And Play that Funky Music reminded me to put Disco and Funk on the list. I LOVE Disco yes I admit it LOL I even got that...I think its Time Life Funk Hits or something. 2 CDs lol I listen to 'em alot.

But when it comes down to it. There are other things I want to spend my money on first. So I never get to the music and stick to the radio. At least I have XM.
