Sound system that is.....
DEH-1500 Pioneer head unit. (Soon to be an alpine..)
Four Memphis 5 1/4 interior speakers.
Two more 5 1/4 memphis speakers(kick panels) with 2 memphis tweeters.
150 watt memphis amp running the highs.
1000watt mono block memphis amp.
2 500rms/1000w 12'' memphis subs, sealed box.
^^ do you need all of those interior speakers?? the image has to be lacking and there's gotta be quite a bit of cancellation going on there
other than kick panels where are the other speakers? (i'm guessing rear deck and uhh...rear doors or front doors?
JVC Khameleon LX-III deck (Yeah I know, but I love the way it hides.)
Kenwood 600W amp hooked to a 12" JL W-3 in a sealed Q Logic box (as pictured)
The rest is stock
I love car audio, but my car isnt really designed to support a big sound system so I just threw in a deck and a sub for a little bass. It sounds good enough for me inside the car so I'm happy for now.
2 Orion Hcca 225 amps
1 kicker impulse amp for highs
2 15inch kicker Solobaric
sony highs and mids and tweets....
Do I need any of it? Not really. But after Christmas I'm adding 2 more subs and another amp. and with 4 subs beating, I'll need all those interior.
two polk audio steel weave 12" subs... running off of a 800w bazooka amp in a custom built bandpass (i know, but its only temporary)... all off of stock HU.... soon to be Pioneer AVH in dash DVD/MP3
I'm not following your logic....so you need them to be loud to keep up with your subs (why 4 is necessary I dunno, you like to get loud huh?).....you don't need lots of speakers just to get loud...especially lots of speakers in different locations...that's just a staging nightmare from a sound quality standpoint...
what subs are you using and what type and size box?
just like i'm sure you'd tell a domestic fan for engines....big doesn't always mean best....i could think of killer setups you could run using factory locations and wouldn't add a lot of weight...
pioneer mp3cd player deck
bazooka el 1500 amp
Clarion VRX925DVD Indash Monitor
Rockford Fosgate Power Hx2 Subwoofer (2000 watts max)
Customized Subzone Ported Box (tuned to 37hz)
Crossfire VR1000d Amp (single channel amp)
Crossfire VR404 Amp (four channel amp)
Memphis Audio PR-ST63 3-Way (rear doors)
Alpine SPR176A Component Set (front door/A pillars)
5.6" Headrest Monitors
i dont have a car..
there you go...you can do that....
^ lol at the lawnmower...
thats real nice...
how much did you put into that?
2 12" Infinity References
800W American Legacy amp (hey, got it for 25 bones)
1F RF cap
rear 5.25" 2-way lanzar speakers
front 6.5" boss drivers and 3" tweeters
Panasonic 402u head unit
I'm aspring to get some JBL GT120's. I got some car audio hooked up in my room too:
2 6.5" lanzar 2-ways (center channel)
12" RF Subwoofer HE Series
4-Channel 1000W American legacy amp.
Putting car audio in your room aint that hard... I sorta try to explain it here:
But, I never finished the site 'cause I got lazy. If you got questions on how to do it, just holla. Altho you shouldn't really since it's easy to do.
^^ ayo...you plannin on upgrading anytime soon?
interesting page man..haha..
Nah, not really. Don't currently have the funds to do it. Why, you got hook ups or wha?
"big doesnt always mean best" Well, it is true. lol
Anyways, what would you suggest for factory replacements? Somthing thats a direct replacement with no mods.
Car ran me a little over 30 stacks and in the mods a little over 10..
