I usually get Plus for my whip....
93 octane since i get free gas
my car takes premium only. costs fuckin upwards of $50 to fill my tank
same , atleast until prices get under $2 a gallon.
word... only premium... in AZ here we only have 91 octane, that i've noticed.. I think I saw 92.. in Illinois tho I used to ger premium 93 octane.
Just got a V6 and someone recommended user the highest octane so I use Shell V Plus(92 or 93,I forget) but it does SEEM to have better pickup but with the prices I'm thinkin bout going back to regular...a friend told me the higher octane means your fuel injectors stay cleaner longer..I have no idea but I know those fuel injector cleaners are a waste of $$ (maybe the higher octane gas is a waste of $ too)
higher octane isnt a waste of money... it burns better than regular...
higher octane is a waste of money unless you drive a luxury car or your engine is knocking
93 octane helps the 12psi of boost buddy
how can you NOT notice a difference.
when i had my old truck, it was 5 speed, it had a vortech 4.3 liter v6..
when I would put the highest octane in (93 in Illinois) I could feel smoother shifting...
you can feel a difference... trust.
now that I have the TA, I definately only gonna use higher octane.
the liquid kinda.
My car's DOHC, so it's recommended I used the expensive shit. Of course they want me to use it, more money for the Government. LOL
But yeah, I use the expensive shit.
