With so much beef's going on and a lot of drama, i see on FB the fans going in & begging for a change. However the demand for names have been over shadowed the fact that battle rap is about developing in to stars not coming out the gate and already being one.
But how much help does battle rap need?

does it demand a sit down?
does it demand a change in talent?
does it demand ego's to be humble and work as a unit to keep battle rap alive?
    is battle rap really dying?

I have been curious for a min to see what every one has to say, cause when it comes from fans who take this serious then they should pay attention.

I can not say URL is falling off cause i personally do not know there motives and or plan due to me not being smack, however i see a lot of ppl going from fans to doing them like they did GT.. then theirs folks that say URL OUT KOTD IN.. but KOTD been in.. so are fans gonna do the same to them? theirs a pattern here, and if we do not catch on quick we may lose site of why we love battle rap in the first place..

I have been thinking about talking to pen and trying to do a one night event called " GTEC THE REUNION" ( AGAIN THIS IS JUST AN IDEA NOT AN ACTUAL EVENT)

A lot of battle Raps most famous and top rappers came from our camp. How would fans like this idea.

And again feed back is always welcomed, i can not take anything personal due to me asking opinions of those who have been in RM for years and those just getting into battle rap.

    IMO.
I think that the rounds need to be shorter. Part of what made older battles more appealing to me was that they were condensed, so as a result you get less material, but it generally was of better quality.

Another thing that I think needs to be considered is the size of the crowd. It seems like the crowd being too big can ruin the energy of the battle, but other times it works fine. Grizzle Mania 2 had the perfect crowd size I think. I don't know. Sometimes it works because it contributes to the atmosphere and some emcees can feed off that shit like Diz for example, but other times it's way too much and you can't even hear the bars because the crowd overreacts.

I would say getting to big battle rap is a niche and works best within that niche that's why there are more classic small venue battles
Would be great to have a gtec event the scene is missing a gtec
I think they need to be smarter about revenue and payments and what not
There are more revenue streams available

money seems to complicate things in the eyes of the fans.....In the past, this has left fans pretty divided as to what is what and what everyone says everyone wants.....

look ppl need to stop complaining about battlers asking for more money. If the league is charging 50,100,200$ per ticket then as a battler you SHOULD be asking for a lot of $$

it needs someone who is already rich but loves the culture to be a president

cuz basically those that love the culture cant handle the money

and usually those that already have money don't care about the culture

so far organik has been the best handling success and i applaud him for that, in the end it gets him more money anyway lol
