I've noticed that the stand-up of most fighters isn't quite up to par with the Muay Thai guys, with the exception of a few like Silva, Duane Ludwig, Davis, and Cung Le. For an example of why MMA needs to evolve in the striking game, watch Leben vs. Silva. Pin-point accuracy against wild swinging. Duane Ludwig vs. Shad Smith. Guy tears him apart. It seems to be changing though with the rise of Anderson and Chuck's recent loss to a better striker. A question for Ben or anyone else: is grappling the best it can be in MMA?
