If the best team in cali is determined by who got the farthest in the playoffs even tho none of them played each other then the warriors are def that

But since all these teams are in the same division and just played 82 games i have trouble saying the warriors the best just cause they bwat a team that routinely loses in the 1st round of the playoffs

Maybe if they beat the spurs but damn

    Just saying...

nuggets shouldve won that series. when lee went down gs played small ball and they werent ready for that

they have trouble guarding the perimeter and obviously curry a beast from there so is klay, add jack and the matchup problems keep rolling in.

karl shouldve ran mcgee more tho. he couldve been a game changer.

Or you could say the clippers lost to a team who was seeded lower than them, while the warriors beat a team that was seeded higher than both the clippers and the team the clippers lost to. giving them their 4th home loss of the entire season in the process.

to me, that says you could argue that the warriors were underachieving in the regular season, and gives a look at what might have been if Bogut was healthy the whole time. that doesn't even factor in brandon rush being out since the first week of the season.

we could go back and forth for days. the purpose of the playoffs is to determine who the best teams are. you get farther in the playoffs, you deserve the respect. no excuses, just results. it's how it works.

    Agree to disagree

Matchups matter and 1 series against random opponents cant dictate that

Especially when the warriors played a team that historically loses in the 1st rd AND one of their best players was hurt

If they beat the spurs they the best in cali, but if not they just got lucky by getting matched up with them nuggets

Lakers beat them same nuggets last yr tbh

See, I'm not buying a single word of that. You know who TRADITIONALLY doesn't even make the playoffs? The Clippers. If we beat the clips, would you say that same excuse? Traditionally, the Warriors don't make the playoffs either. You know what else is tradition? The Lakers going deep in the playoffs. Just because this season is different than last season doesn't mean it doesn't count- its an accurate reflection of the current status and changes happening in the league.

I can't even believe you wanna talk about best players being hurt, we played the series without David Lee, dude. You know who David Lee is right? The all star? The league leader in double doubles?
