What did you have to eat today?

    what did you have for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, exactly?

    this was a sad day for me

    for breakfast I had a bowl of Reese's Puffs

    lunch I had 4 strips of bacon and 2 eggs (i felt like it ok)

    dinner I had beef flavored pasta

    later 1 apple

    dinner 2 I had a boiled potato, peas, and baked chicken

    pretty shitty right? that's why I'm tryin to see what everyone else is eating.

    breakfast/meal 1: cup of green tea, 4 strips of bacon, 1 hamburger/2 cheeseburgers (no bun), a couple slices of american cheese, some natural peanut butter and im not sure but i may have had a couple slices of deli roast beef too

    10:30?(inbetween classes): 3 steaks...not sure what OZ they werent tiny but they werent huge either.

    meal 3: 1.5 big slabs of steak, 5 meatballs

    meal 4PWO piece of steak w/ cheese, 4 strips of bacon and a cup of coffee

    during WO: Whey shake (1 scoop)

    PWO: 2 scoops "Grow!" Whey

    meal6: salad, roast beef, 10 raw eggs

    Pre-Bed BCAA's and Cottage Cheese



    owell i ate some eggs, i was looking at porkchops and the thought of eating them was making me sick.

    pretty much.

    im on Anabolic Diet. to start the diet you go 12 days on 30 or less carbs after that your body has made whats known as the "metabolic shift" where you stop using carbohydrates for fuel/energy and start using fat instead. this also simoteaneously gives you a low carb tolerance so you cycle 5/2 5 days of the week are high protein high fat low carb and the other two days are high carb moderate/high fat and low protein. the purpose of the 2 day carb up is to use the low carb tolerance to your advantage so you eat the carbs and get a huge insulin spike which fills your muscles up with glycogen. then repeat.

    I have a lot of mid terms this week, so im somewhat stressed and eating is pretty low on my priorities. But, i did try and eat somewhat healthy.

    1 cup oatmeal (i need to stop eating this stuff, but it's so easy to make.)
    1 cup blueberrys
    tablespoon of fishoil (this is equivalent to 120 calories and 14g of fish oil)

    i sipped some protein drink(pro complex) consisting of 30g of protein throughout my workout

    Post workout, i drank another 30g of whey protein mixed with grape juice. Grape juice has a decent ratio of glucose and fructose, and i drank around 50g of carbs of it. I also ate a protein bar which was 20 g protein and 30 g carbs.

    pretty big sirloin steak probably 12 oz...
    1 cup blueberrys
    tablespoon fish oil

    went to school for 4 hrs

    ate a protein bar and walnuts in between classes

    8-9 oz turkey breast
    spinach olive oil
    big orange

    more turkey
    apple
    fish oil

    yogurt
    bannana
    biotest metabolic drive protein powder(The best protein powder that I have bought)


    I change my diet up almost every day though because i eat all the food i have in 2 days.

    are you stopping oatmeal consumption because of that Poloquin article? granted it may be a common food allergy it seems there's some controversy to just stop eating it all together. seems to me theres a lot of dividing between people who take everything he says to be the infaliable truth and people who think its rittled with not quite b.s. but a lot of exaggeration.

    partly because of poliquin....but also because i want to eat more fruit and vegetable carb sources...i feel better eating eggs or steak with fruit in the morning than eating microwaved oatmeal and protein powder...

    yeah it wouldnt hurt for me to use more vegetable carb sources either...although im not allotted too many carbs to begin with, aside from yesterday i hadnt had salad or any real vegetables (outside of a tomato slice in a sandwhich) for atleast a week or even two.

    Its not fair that guys can eat so much! lol

    So far:
    PB & J low cal whole wheat toast
    1 cup of coffee

    1/2 a chicken breast w/ grilled carrots & green/red cabbage salad no dressing
    1 Fuji apple

    Its only 4pm so no dinner yet.

    if you do intense workouts youll have more calorie expenditure/increased metabolism thus you can eat pretty much whatever you want and not gain any fat, its called "G-flux". happens a lot naturally, especially with powerlifters and other athletes under more extreme than usual conditions.

    keep in mind im also in a bulk stage, im 6'0 and an ectomorph build, with an already extremely fast metabolism. my gut sticks out so much from all the food in it but my body fat is probaly no higher than 10-12% kinda funny actually.

    Lunch- half a cup of leftover Hamburger helper
    Snack- Tuna Salad 8 crackers
    Dinner... haven't had it yet but prolly more tuna salad..not too hungry

    carb day =)

    meal 1 chocolate cake, oatmeal, coffee, toast w/ low sugar jelly & butter

    some more toast w/ low sugar jelly+butter

    (work) 3 cinamon raisin bagels

    mad bread, went to Target bought some natural PB and whole grain bread n some milk then made PB sandwhiches all day at work

    come home at 8, some roasted potatoes & ice cream i gotta eat some more fuckin starvin and im not gaining weight =/

    Holy fucking jesus.

    I'd be ATLEAST 400lbs if I ate like that. Doesn't matter if I only did it on the weekends or even oneday a week. God BLESSED you with a high metabolism. Embrace it.

    carbs got cut off so i just had some roast beef and 4 raw eggs, then did some homework and ate some cottage cheese. ill have some BCAAs soon then ill call it a night.

    yeah, its a gift and a curse. its great that even if mess up on a diet or something im not affected that much, i also dont really have to do cardio...im not right now atleast, but on the downside it makes gaining muscle much harder and MUCH more expensive since i have to compensate all those calories i burn naturally.


    lol i forgot to add in that i had a ton of milk too, i figure i need as many cals as i can get, might as well be drinking em too.

    I had a bowl of cocoa puffs with the shake from the reese's puffs bag

    I had 2 plain slices of pizza

    I had pasta, peas, carrots, and a lamburger

    I also had cheeze nips party mix

    I had chicken noodle soup

    plus a banana

    another shitty day lol, this is good I can put my diet into perspective
