Well, there's not much of a debate here....97 Maxima 5spd. 3.0L V6 with the award winning VQ engine, one of the most reliable cars on the road. The Nissan VQ won more awards than any engine EVER! Maximas are badass looking sporty cars with plenty of speed and even more aftermarket support. Checkout Maxima.org and your mind will be made up!

    Not sporty???? LMAO

Go look through Maxima.org and tell me that it's not a sporty sedan. And as far as hanging with the Accord V6, a stock maxima can't take the brand new one's, but it can take any V6 accord before that. But with the maxima, you can dump 1000 bucks into it and you're running over 235 hp and you will eat a new Accord V6 for lunch (plus the maxima looks better). You can probably find one within your price range, especially if you go with a 5spd (they are less expensive than an auto). I had a fully tricked out 96 for about 3 years and it was the best car that I've ever owned. The ride is great too (just a little FYI)

LMAO...you are obviously talking out of your ass now, seeing as for they're price range they are probably the fastest car you are going to get. As far as weight, they are one of the lightest sport sedans you're going to find. The S4 is about 1000 pounds heavier. A stock 97 5spd will do the 1/4 in the high 14's, STOCK! So don't talk shit about what you obviously don't know.
