the axis countries win ww2 and america is split between the germans and the japs. book is set in the pacific/rocky mountains which is japanese territory, though with many references made to whats going on/went on in other parts of the world. the book follows a few basic characters with interconnected stories through what is a somewhat light-hearted depiction of day-to-day life in this fictional america.

The time I could spend reading is focused on my study of French instead.

Here are some materials I use:

Amazon.com: Living Language French, Complete Edition: Beginner through advanced course, including coursebooks, audio CDs, and online learning (9780307478436): Living Language: Books

Amazon.com: 601 French Verbs (601 Verbs) (English and French Edition) (9789812688163): Berlitz: Books

    Amazon.com: Merriam-Webster's French-English Dictionary (9780877799177): Merriam-Webster, Eileen M. Haraty: Books

I also use Livemocha.com and several YouTube channels for more French learning.

I'm really excited for the future. I really enjoy the french language, and will continue learning for many years. Language has always been a passion of mine, but to have a second language at my disposal is a dream that's coming true.

    Peace

Sounds sort of like the confederate states of america, history channel documentary spoof movie. The south won the war, and it even has fake commercial about slaves and highly racist products
